How do I apply for employment opportunities?
You may submit a completed job application online by going to www.grapevinetexas.gov and click "Job Opportunities" on the Quick Links.
Click on the desired position, and then click on Apply. The link will will take you to Government Jobs. If this is your first time using the online application, you will need to create an account and select a username and password. After creating your account, you will be able to login and build an application. This application will be saved so that you may use it to apply for multiple jobs if you desire. Resumes and other pertinent information can be sent as an attachment in the online application process. This is a secure site, and only authorized City employees have access to your information.

Although all applicants who meet the minimum qualifications are considered, those candidates whose background, experience and education which are most closely related to the position may be considered first. Due to the number of applications, not all applicants will be interviewed.

Filling a job vacancy can take from four to six weeks or longer, depending on the type of position.

All applicants can check on the status of their on-line application by logging into www.governmentjobs.com. Click your username at the top right corner, a drop box opens, then click on Applications & Status. It will show all of the jobs that you have applied for and the status of your application.
